This is the privacy policy for Dragless, a macOS application.

This is not the privacy policy for the referred website. This is the privacy policy for the app itself.

In this document, Dragless will be referred to as OurApp.

Those responsible for managing OurApp will be referred to as AweAndJoy.

Data collection

OurApp does not collect data.

That said, macOS may, nonetheless, automatically collect crash reports and anonymous usage statistics about OurApp, in accordance with Apple’s privacy policy and the user’s preferences in macOS.

Screen capturing

If the user consents, OurApp captures the content of the computer screen to display in the relevant part of OurApp.

OurApp neither stores nor transmits such content.

System monitoring

OurApp continuously monitors the system for instances where the user drags with the mouse.

Furthermore, OurApp monitors any relevant keyboard and mouse activity that may occur outside OurApp when items are being dragged, within reason, and subject to all macOS restrictions.

OurApp neither stores nor transmits any such mouse activity.

List open applications

Whenever required, OurApp requests a list of all open applications so that OurApp can display their names and so that OurApp can create specific configurations when dealing with one or more of those applications.

OurApp may save the names, filenames, and the bundle identification of any such applications so that OurApp can continue to apply specific configurations when dealing with those applications across different launches of OurApp.

OurApp does not transmit any information about the referred applications. The referred information is saved only locally.

Areas of application windows

Whenever required, OurApp requests the location and the identity of all open application windows so that OurApp can act in specific ways within the areas of those windows.

OurApp does not save or transmit any information about the referred application windows.
